Mesa, a casual dining Filipino food is one of our favorite restaurants. The popular dishes here are Grilled Seafood, Stuffed Squid, Garlic Chicken and Scallops. But for me, my favorite dish is Mesa’s Mixed Vegetable. I’m trying to imitate Mesa’s Mixed Vegetable.
I’m not sure what ingredients they used for the sauce. It tastes a little bit salty and sweet. One thing I’m sure of is the peanut as the topping for that toasted nutty smell and taste. I call my version Mixed Vegetable Honey Peanut Glaze.
On their mixed vegetables, the ingredients, as far as I can remember are Chinese pechay, carrots, young corn, asparagus and nuts.
